Ganja Queen

I must admit that I regularly indulge into one my guilty pleasures which is watching "Weeds" every Monday on Showtime. What began last semester as a 30 minute escape from the pressing responsibilities of college deadlines, etc. almost became an obsession.
Nancy, played by Mary Louise Parker, is a single suburban widow who lives with her two sons and hilariously immature brother-in-law. Her life is typical, save the fact that she is a weed dealer. How weird but intriguing is it to see a 30-something-year-old single mom selling weed? Not only is she selling it, but she's on top of her game. Her oldest son, Silas gets in on the family business to boot. Nancy is anything but "gangster" but she's managed to build a mini empire and evade police enforcement for three seasons! Not exactly a comedy laced with morals, "Weeds" is admittedly entertaining with it's never ending twists and developments. BTW, what happened to Conrad?? I miss him! I hope he makes a comeback like Celia did on tonight's episode;)
