Keep Hope Alive

It looks like another one of our arguably reputable Black publications is biting the dust. Various sources say that the 16-year-old urban-music magazine, which has featured hip-hop and R&B artists from Biggie Smalls to Eminem, has finally succumbed to the economic recession. The folding of Vibe certainly doesn't give aspiring magazine journalists, ie. myself a good feeling about where this industry is going, but all we can do is hold onto our dreams and keep working hard in hopes of reaching people through the written word.
